I was worried it was going to be a little big for my miniature dachshund, but it actually works really well! It’s very quiet, works just as advertised, and was easy to assemble. The light on it is very aesthetically pleasing and my puppy loves drinking out of it! And I’ll admit that I was on the hunt for the cheapest option, and this one is great for the price! Definitely recommend!

I have the old design of these without the LED or water line indicator and it’s still kicking but I wanted another because I love it and decided to go with this updated version. First off, love the new design. It looks smaller but it’s wider and holds a lot more water. I fill it with a tall glass and needed a couple more to fill it than the other. I have five cats so that’s a huge bonus. The blue is really pretty and I love the LED making the water line easier to see from a distance. The silicone mat is really cute and handy for me more than them; any water I spill while filling it doesn’t splash onto my hardwood floors. It was a little noisy on start up but it’s brand new so the pump often needs ‘primed’. I gently lifted the top two lids (the clear and blue ones) to check the bubbling then gently set them back down and it was completely quiet. I would suggest running the submerged pump in the fountain for a few seconds before gently setting the top two down while running. I love the new pump design too. The old one is really similar to a fish tank water pump but they’re built the same basic way. When you need to clean it (and you absolutely will if you have hard water; don’t give cats distilled water as it has no nutrients and doesn’t actually hydrate because of that), you only need to remove the covering and dissemble two other pieces. The fountain did include a detailed insert with diagrams on how to clean the pump, which is immensely helpful for people who have never had anything with a water pump and didn’t know they need minimal maintenance. The manual itself clearly reminds you of when to check and replace the filter and sponge, clean the reservoir and (as stated) the pump. At most, you’re looking at a half hour full clean, but minimal maintenance only takes a few minutes if you keep it up. Take notice of the pump direction as this is different from the other versions. The wire and LED goes towards the front and goes over the pump towards the notches in back. You thread the USB down through the rectangular tunnel in the back. Make sure when setting it down that the wire goes through the notches and isn’t pinched under the clear tray or bottom of the back. Make sure the clear tray’s open end (a broad trapezoid shape) is over this tunnel and when placing the blue top tray the slots will need to drain left to right, not top to bottom (if the clear water line window is facing you, this is the ‘bottom’ when looking down). The flower spout doesn’t need to click in, just place it snuggly. Two of my cats have embraced the new one right away. Some of them have trust issues with anything new but I do think they’ll love this one too. Honestly, don’t spend a huge amount on some of the others out there unless you’re aiming for a certain aesthetic. Functionally, these are super reliable if operated correctly and the form is plenty cute/eye-pleasing for most set-ups. Very easy to clean, just remember to keep it food-safe for cats and don’t use bleach. You can use limescale or enzyme cleaners but remember if you do this with the pump, you’ll need to run it in clean water a couple times to make sure it’s all flushed out. Whatever you use, make sure it’s pet-safe!

My cat had always been a light drinker and I was constantly worried about her hydration. Since setting up this fountain she visits it far more often throughout the day, which was really the main goal. The continuously circulating water seems to genuinely attract her in a way that a still bowl never did. Assembly was straightforward and took maybe ten minutes. The pump is quiet enough that it blends into background noise without any issue. One thing to know is that the water level indicator starts making a bit more noise as it gets low, which is actually useful since it reminds you to refill before the pump runs on empty. Cleaning is simple enough, the unit breaks down into manageable pieces and nothing is hard to reach. The included filters are a nice touch and replacements are reasonably priced. My only small gripe is the plastic exterior shows water spots fairly easily, so it needs a quick wipe down every few days to look presentable. Overall though it does exactly what a pet fountain should do and my cat is visibly drinking more.

I have a lot of pets and I have tried several different brands of drinking fountains and this one is the best I have found yet. It looks nice, comes with a little mat to go under the fountain. It was very easy to put together. The pump actually connects to the top so you are not trying to line things up every time you add water or change the filter. It has a similar filtration system to others I have purchased and those have worked very well. It plugs in so no charging. It is made from plastic. The fountain also came with a small brush for cleaning the pump and fountain portion. My cats seem to love it. It is very quiet as well.

SUPERB VALUE!!! My pets ❤️ it!!! I ❤️ it's quiteness. Activated carbon is activated charcoal which removes impurities. This is CRUCIAL FOR HEALTH. Not all mfgs use activated charcoal/carbon but ineffective plain charcoal granules. The fountain was: well packed, instructions clear, very easy to install & use. The parts r well made fitting like a glove. VEKEN is my 1st & only mfg that SUPPLIED A CLEANING BRUSH FREE & needed to remove microorganisms from the piping & crevices. I took advantage of the combined 6 filter sale. Filters have been sold out when changing was needed. Highly recommend!!!

Omg, I love this water fountain for my cats, it is very easy to clean and to put together, good quality, My cats love it, not that loud, it came with extra filter. I'm just trying to figure out if they sell the filter seperate. I really recommend this product specially if have multiple cats. It is one of pet preference products.
