IN LOVE! Great quality, assembly was straight forward and took about 30 mins. Came with instructions, gloves, weed barrier cloth, metal frame for netting and green house cover. Rolled edges for gardening protection. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the drainage holes right under support beam. I had to add a few of my own.

Update: The seller reached out to me and is thoroughly correcting my issue. I am very happy with their Rey. I can’t wait to plant my garden again. I’d definitely purchase from them again! Original: Killed my plants! Horrible customer service! I purchased this product for a raised garden on my deck. I planted everything (8 plants on April 16th. There was a slight frost/freeze of 32 degrees a one day ago. I had the netting and PE cover over the garden. The next day when I took the PE cover off, all of my plants were dead! Amazon said that I could return the garden, but that’s not an option for me. I have over 200 pounds of soil in it. They wanted it broken down in order to ship it back in a box. I asked for a partial credit but they said that my only option is to return it. This is the first time that I have run into a major problem trying to get help from a product they sold on their site. Very disappointing

I’m on the fence about this product for several reasons. 1. Usually DIY items like this come with more than enough nuts and bolts, not this one!! Thankfully I am a collector of odd nuts and bolts and was able to supplement. 2. The bed of this garden is supported by 3 narrow rods that I imagine may rust at the connection points and cause the bed to fall out like others have complained about in their reviews. I decided to reinforce underneath to mitigate that issue (see pictures). 3. The legs!!! I suggest that once you put it in place filled with dirt, don’t move it unless you have help. Trying to slide it while full will likely cause these skimpy legs to bend. Overall assembly was pretty cut and dry, just pay attention to where your holes are when installing the side panels. I accidentally put a panel on upside down, cost me about 5 minutes. Hopefully a year from now I will be able to report upgrading this review to 4 stars, but definitely not a 5 star product.

Lost a star for the absolutely HORRID instructions. It took me FIVE hours to put this together with my husband helping in last hour and even he was frustrated. But, once it was together, it was everything I was looking for and now I want another one (I just don’t want to put it together). My herbs and veggies have grown so much over the last 2-3 weeks. It’s unbelievable.

I purchased two of these planters while they were on sale for $99. One planter is for tomatoes and the second is for strawberries along with their companion plants. I put the planters together alone with only a little bit of swearing. The packaging was sufficient as there was no damage to the metal components and fasteners were accounted for. The instructions are universal pictures. I have put together enough IKEA stuff to always check to make sure all components and fasteners are there and dry fitting before locking the item down. I did the same thing here and it saved time. I did get a nice sized blister on my thumb from turning all the wing nuts. I added fabric liners (NODMIPS Heavy duty liners 47x27x12), cucumber ‘A frame’ supports and insect netting all from Amazon. I used the wing nut/screws to keep the liner in place. The wing nuts/screws that hold the additionally purchased liner seemed to help the planting bed feel more secure. I used a combination of potting mix, expanding coir and seed starting mix (Back to Our Roots brand) so I can’t give an exact amount of ‘dirt’ needed to fill the planter. The planter was more difficult to move when filled over my wood deck. I was concerned about initial flimsiness but the tightening of all bolts and adding the liner did seem to make the actual planting bed more solid. I am still unsure about the stand/rolling portion of the planter. I currently have 2 large bags of potting mix on the shelf. Within a week of putting the planters together, loading them with soil and plants we got a surprise rain storm. It appeared the planter drained well and there was no standing water in the planting bed. The bottom of the actual potting bed is solid metal with drainage. Very solid!

I really wanted to start my own organic veggie garden, but I wanted to start with a raised bed that's manageable. I saw this one and it has good reviews and the photos looked good from previous reviews. I assembled the whole thing myself, which was pretty easy, overall. I initially made the mistake of using the bottom panels as the sides, then as I got further along, I realized I was missing the holes, so I had to take most of it apart and re-do it, but then I was cruising along (PAY ATTENTION TO THE PICTURES OF THE HOLES WHEN ADDING THE SCREWS). I found it easy to assemble, I saw other reviews who didn't, but I would definitely recommend this to someone, just pay attention to the pictures in the instructions and look ahead before you start too, which was exactly what I didn't do. Also, I saw people complaining about the ties for the greenhouse cover because half the tie is on the inside and the other half is on the outside... THIS IS INTENTIONAL. It's like that so when you roll up the cover, you tie it to hold it in place. I also saw a helpful hint that someone else mentioned when rolling the cover, which was a recommendation to roll it down, instead of up because when it rains, the water collects if you roll it up. My husband and I are also impressed with how much weight this garden bed holds. I love my new garden and I can't wait to see some results!

The person that put this together for me said it was not easy, but it is sturdy. It takes a great deal of soil to fill the water 💦 filtration system is flawed there were not enough sprinkler tubes and some were broken there was not enough of the right connectors there were too many of some not enough of others. It was also too long, does not fit the bed at all, hangs over the side. Can’t use it, not operating as intended. Nice idea though. And the what’s in the box says there should be a weed barrier inside but I didn’t find one. I’m enjoying the bed.

This should have 2 people to put together. Need to read instructions well and take your time. The pictures help but some are hard to tell how it goes on. Example, first time I put it together I placed the sides on the outside & should go on the inside. Had to take the whole thing apart and start over.

It was very easy to put together. The instructions were easy to follow. It is light weight enough to move easily until filled with soil. I bought two. The first one I put the cover on but took the cover off when I planted my veggies so they would get more direct sun. I think I will possibly put the cover back on in the fall when the temperatures start cooling off. If I need a third one, I will buy the King Bird again.

Easy assembly, however I had to go to the hardware store to purchase wing nuts and screws that were missing. Amazon refunded the cost of the items purchased at the hardware store.

Everything looks great, good size and easy to put together. I took off one star because it was missing 2 swing nuts n the nut box we have to purchase them separately. There are also 2 extra rods that seem to belong to different model. I filled with 4 bags of 2cu.ft for this planter.

Very nice planter box, way, way hard to put together. Give yourself plenty of time. Not all the bolts and screws were sent with it as described. Had to buy a couple of them.

Missing screws. Now I Have to go now to Home Depot. Otherwise good

The instructions do not include recommendations on filling it other than weight. And nothing on how the weed cover is is to be secured. The only way to communicate with the manufacturer is through Email, which, for me, is inconvenient.

Relatively easy to assemble and set up on my NM patio. Cover's blown off only once in several months, and that was a VERY windy day. Ran my spray irrigation lines through it and set it on an automatic 5-min. timer so it gets watered daily. Started some heirloom tomato seeds in it, as well as rooted veggies from the fridge (celery, carrots, onions, Romaine, box lettuce) so that they continue to grow and produce more food even after we've stripped them of the first growth of leaves.

I didn’t realize that the “cover” meant it was a greenhouse cover. I am sure that’s my error but wanted to share here that the cover isn’t breathable, it’s a solid plastic. It seems like it’s a great cover if that’s your purpose! I wanted something to protect from squirrels and birds but still have fresh air breezing through.

OK first - the finished product is great so far. No critters are getting in and messing with my veggies. Putting it together is another story. The directions seemed to be for another product and weren’t very clear. I really struggled getting the bottom of the garden bed in and nearly gave up but I didn’t. Use the gloves - the metal will cut you. It’s not impossible, just bring your sense of humor and know that putting it together will be somewhat of an adventure

I am writing this to try and clear up some complaints on other reviews. Read a lot of complaints of missing screws. I have assembled two of these with no parts missing. I think people are trying to bolt all of the holes on bottom plate center. As the picture shows you only use one bolt in the center and one on each end. The empty holes are for drainage. I had 2 extra bolts on both units when completed. Also people have said the tie down straps were installed wrong in top center. One strap on inside and one on outside. They are to be used to tie the screening when rolled up. This unit is very sturdy. Did not give it 5 stars because there could be some helpful hints in the instuctions. Only shows pictures. I also drilled extra drainage holes between the back and center drainage holes. Would definitely recommend this unit.

Sharing my honest thoughts after using this raised bed for a couple of years. Assembly was straightforward, the price was reasonable compared to other brands, and it offers plenty of room for planting and not having to bend over, overall a great option for getting started. The downside: after about two years, I’m seeing rust and structural wear. The support beams on the bottom have started to fall off, are heavily rusted, and the bottom panels have started to sag because of this. It’s been a solid starter planter, but just know it may not hold up over the years.

Ready to put together! I gave only 4 starts a use I just opened the box and don’t know how this will go!! However, I’m super excited to put it together!! One thing I didn’t realized is that I got the one with the net, not the one with the greenhouse cover. But is all good, I can get the plastic and add it later. Updates to follow!

I wasn’t ready to dig a garden in my yard, this was the perfect solution. Took a while to assemble (lots of plastic wrapping) but my friend got it built and I used it immediately. It takes two large bags of soil, a bag of compost and other debris. My veggies (tomatos and peppers) are thriving! The only down side, is when the plants grow tall and I need a way to raise the netting because I need the coverage due to insect and deer. I dont like it for crawling plants like cucumbers and squash unless a trellis or wiring is attached.
