Product is exactly what we needed but was missing some of the Velcro to be able to assemble. Was not in original packing I assume was lost in repackage. Other than that is seems like it will work
Ok so this works great. It keeps the heat in. I have a cat who likes to sit on the porch so I keep the door cracked. My electric bill was insane so I needed a solution. This works great. Did not realise how drafty it was until I got this. As for installation, I’m sure it’d be easy if two people did it. But I’m sort and trying to get that tape to stick was a pain in the butt. Not sure it’s the most sealed because of how difficult it was to get all the sides smooth with only myself. Here’s the main issue with it. It’s ugly. It is so freaking ugly. I have an aesthetic of my house and this stands out like a sore thumb. I know nothing can be done about that. I’m just going to suck it up for my cat. But god it’s an ugly colour. Edit: I had to deduct a star because this is not renter friendly.
It is not wind proof the stitching is wide and you can see the light come thru and that means wind can come thru also. Have to force it close at the bottom

These insulated curtains are of very good quality Easy to follow instructions. I’d advise taking your time taking the tape off I was able to install the 2 50” curtains in under a half an hour with no problem. The magnets hold the 2 panels together very well but you can still open to look outside. I could feel a big difference almost immediately. Highly recommend!
An absolute magnificent design to keep the cold out but yet you can easily walk through it with ease...Bought one for this tiny space in-between my mom's door and livingrm. She used to put up a thick curtain but it was still so cold. We bought her this and WOW, HUGE difference!!....All the cold is in that tiny space before u enter the livinrm. Just measure your Dorr before purchasing!!
This product will help me tackle 2 issues with an external door on my laundry room. First, it eliminates the afternoon sun which really warms up the room during this summer. Secondly, I anticipate that it will help cut down on drafts during the winter. I was able to put it up by myself, however it might be a little bit easier with a two person install as the tape used to attach the Velcro to the frame is very sticky and is hard to move when itis not exactly where you want it.
Product uses a double sided velcro tape to hang the curtain and thumbtacks. Its decent too use as a door but the magnets arent that strong and heavily relies on the thumbtacks to close gaps. Also the lower part where the curtain ends leaves space for air to escape or if using as a door for cats to squeeze by. To me it seems like you can just use a regular curtain & thumbtacks and it would be the same thing. So product does what it says just seems like theres better and cheaper options. I gave it a lower stars because the return charges 7 dollars which if knew would of gone with another store.
Have had this product for a while, ordered two and combined them for a 'custom' area coverage. Has done its job.
I hung my door blanket today. We live in Michigan and it is getting down to -25 F. Our door to our sun room has always been a problem but most winters I just hang a curtain over the door to try to help with the draft. We felt the difference when we hung the blanket immediately. I also purchased one for my oldest son and will be ordering at least two be more. I was glad they included the push pins because the tape wasn’t sticking in certain spots, but I am sure that is because I was hanging it in the sun room and it was -15 degrees.
Such a great item, worth every dollar. This is the 2nd winter season that I have had this up. I actually have had it up all year round. You can easily fee the difference with using the product. Very easy to install and use. Have had no issues with it since putting it up over a yr ago. The door its on is the one that my 4 large dogs go in/out of. Well worth purchasing.

It is a lot heavier than I thought it would be. I used the velcro tape to hang it since the tacks were such a pain in the butt. It's a little ling for my door, but not too bad. It would have been easier to hang with two people, but it can be done with one person. Just be prepared to move it around a few times to get it straight.
Does a great job. We get a draft around the doggie door so put this on the door. The magnet closure goes back together whenever the dogs go in or out. I love it and would recommend it.
The sticky portions are terrible. They remove the paint and they don’t sick well. So the installation wasn’t easy. I ended up putting 4-5 screws through. The heat/cool air retention is dope. Magnet strength is soild. Unfortunately for some reason he one I enter frequently started to fall apart in the middle….some magnets fell out. The picture. But the other one is holding up fine. Screw the barrier in. Protect the wall.
I have a door that doesn't open in my house, yes I know it's probably a haunted portal but what are you gonna do? Buy this thermal insulation door cover, obviously! Helps keep the draft from the spirit realm from creeping into your house. Works great for saving money on heating! And would easily work well if you have a door that actually works too, the magnetic strips in the center make going in and out a breeze so it doesn't impede your access on nights you want to venture forth to the other side.
I got this for the door connecting garage to house. The magnetic pieces in the middle hold the curtain closed very well but are also easy to walk through. The fit was good. Instructions were clear. The quality of the materials is superior. Highly recommend if you have a drafty spot or a high traffic doorway.
My home was built in 1913 and is pretty drafty. I purchased this to put at the front entry way by my front door. It is absolutely amazing. Before putting installing this, my furnace wasn't able to keep my home temperature up. Now it is nice and warm and my furnace actually can take a break now. The magnets in the middle are awesome. They snap back together after you walk through it and seals it closed to prevent air from getting through. My dogs get through it with ease as well. You have the option to use the velcro tape or the stick pens to put it up. I ended up using the velcro tape because the pens that are provided were too flimsy. I like the velcro tape better because it's very strong and it holds it in place. Make sure to measure the area that you will be installing it in to assure that is long enough and wide enough.
WOW This item is a perfect solution for a draft in a door way I have 3 The quality is 5 star No draft and it’s an easy install Though … I do recommend using screws when installing on metal / concrete or damp surfaces The Velcro strip is strong n wide but I fear the adhesive may be compromised if damp or too cold with a concrete or metal surface The magnetic strips closure is very strong I am impressed I would recommend this to everyone Worth every bit of the purchase price Thank you
I have a 38” wide steel door that lets in a ton of cold in the Wisconsin winter. It’s not a door that we can use (don’t tell the building inspector or the fire chief) so I sit next to it as I teach. But I’m a wiry 5’2” 100lbs red hair and I freeze to death by the door. (It’s not a matter of choice that I sit there. The room is so small, it’s the only place I can sit.) I purchased this to cover that beastly steel door. It works pretty well! I wish it were a little wider and longer to account for the door knob and hinges on the door. Also the stopper at the top, but it mostly works. Doesn’t quite go all of the way down. But, I have a draft blocker in the bottom. I’m warmer, the kids all ask why a blanket is on the door, and it doesn’t look too bad. If it were an inch wider and half an inch longer, it would have fit perfectly. It does keep out the cold, so that is fantastic and the whole reason why I purchased it. Thanks!
