This has been the best purchase I’ve made for our new puppy so far. He’s going to be a big boy- 90 pounds full grown! I got the large. He’s 20 pounds in the first photo, at 10 weeks. In the second photo, he’s 55 pounds and 5 months old. Just to give you an idea of size when you’re looking at this product. He sits on it all the time, pulls his toys on it to chew/play with them. I even sat/laid on it for hours while he’s napped on my lap. It’s very comfortable! We’ve already had to wash it several times in the first few weeks(potty training is so fun lol!) and it’s held up great. I love the fact that it has a liquid proof cover in addition to the faux fur cover. I would recommend delicate cycle when washing, and using an all natural detergent and fabric softener. Delicate cycle for dryer too. I think for any fabric it’s the best but especially for the faux fur aspect. And bc perfumes and dyes could irritate skin. Again my personal opinion. In addition, zip up the cover when you wash it, the inside fabric sheds a bit and can get in your dryer. It’s just a bit messy but nothing major. I also bought this because of the look. It’s complements my living room bc it looks like an actual faux fur throw rug. Even my friends without pets want one!

I purchased what I expected to be the exact same one from a couple years ago that I loved. I notice the cushion is a bit thinner (still nice) but the game changer is the sturdy zip up cover that can easily be washed and still looks great when it dries. My last one didn’t have a cover so when I had a visitor with a dog who had an accident in it, it had to be tossed. This cover is fantastic! It has grips on the bottom so it doesn’t slip and slide all over hardwood or vinyl flooring. I have a puppy now and she’s also had a couple accidents while potty training and I was so glad to be able to spray some cleaner on it and get as much up as possible and then wash it and it’s good as new. Suggestion: you don’t have to be that crafty for this, but I decided to trace the cushion on a big piece of paper so I can fold up the template and keep it for when I want to buy a cheap piece of foam and cut out a new one. I’ve done it once already because a couple accidents went through to the cushion.

Our dog gives it 5 stars! Great size for larger dogs to be able to spread out. So soft and cozy!

Purchased this for my dog because she seemed restless in her older foam bed. She definitely sleeps better and this bed looks much nicer in my living room. Since my dog spends a lot of time outside, her beds get washed frequently so it’s essential that a bed is easy to put back together. I can put the waterproof liner and dog bed cover back on in about 1 minute! I’ve had wonderful dog beds in the past but if it takes me 10 minutes and a lot of aggravation to put it back together then it’s a no go for me. The photo I have included is after about 5 washes and it still looks as good as new. Overall, a great bed and would purchase again.

WONDERFUL BED! We purchased the giant size since we have a 150lb great dane and he fits perfectly! He absolutely loves it! It's super soft, fuzzy and comfortable! It's waterproof and washes well (wash on delicate cold and air tumble dry) - I've washed it three times since having it and it's still like new! They do also sell replaceable covers which I absolutely love should we ever need one. The only con is that it does shed a bit at first. Highly recommend!

Still going strong 4 years later through many many washes. Even my cat loves it. Didn’t give 5 stars due to complaints it’s not waterproof as advertised. We don’t have an issue with that so can’t UPDATE: removed star. After purchasing another bed, learned quality not worth the price. not as thick/dense as previous purchase. Doesn’t feel orthopedic.

We loved these beds. Bought 3 of the largest sizes for our 55lb husky and her 2 sons who are 95lbs for our new house. The protective cover stopped protecting the foam after a few washes and any pee/liquid just goes right through it now onto the foam. I even went as far as to wash to foam in our shower, carefully wring it out best I could without ripping the foam, transferring it to a large towel and downstairs to the deck where I let it air dry. If I don’t get enough water out it just rips into pieces so lost one that way, then after washing the foam 3 or 4 times for the other 2 I just gave up. We have an older dog who has some bladder control issues now and she will pee on the bed if she’s not taken out in time, also my moms puppy had peed on them twice so just… lots of peeing and not easy to wash. Wish the cover was more water proof because we got SO many compliments on these beds and people would regularly sit on them (even nap on them). Won’t purchase again, looking into other options.

Bought the large rectangular dog bed. It’s beautiful and my dog loves it BUT…. The zipper for the internal mattress protector broke after the first wash. For a $130 dog bed I expected better quality. Would love to get a replacement mattress protector if one is available. Edited to add that IHappyDog replaced the mattress for free, which was very generous. I’ll give them 4 stars for the great customer service and quick response. But my second bed has the same zipper issue, so I wont be buying any more.

I’m doing a review for this dog bed two years after I initially purchased it. This bed has held up fantastic over the last two years! I have washed it at least once every month in cold water and then allowed it to air dry. After it’s dry, I use a hairbrush just to smooth back out the hair. The zipper is extremely sturdy. The inside foam has also held its cushion. The shape is fantastic, both of my dogs can actually fit on it when they want to. I haven’t had any concerns about the dogs chewing on it. Not only does it look good, it is also comfortable for them to use and they spend hours napping on it. This is a great value for your money as you can see after two years of regular use and washing it still looks pretty good!
