I have seen so many people starting to use weighted vests. I finally researched and found they are great for your heart, core and balance, strength and endurance, more calories burned, and bone density. My kids (nurses) have been lecturing me about the importance of weights as you get older. It's not about being "ripped," it's about keeping muscles and bones from breaking and getting injured. This vest is ten pounds. I am 5'5 and 150 lbs. It fits comfortably. It's not big or bulky and I didn't feel weighed down when I put it on - like I couldn't move well. The front strap is adjustable. The vest itself has a mesh back pocket as well as several reflective strips on the front and back. I did not have my husband try it, but it seems like it would not fit him well. He is quite a bit taller and 180 lbs. Overall, I am looking forward to wearing the vest around the house and during exercise to help my body get more fit in a safe way.
I purchased the 10lb vest in black. The color was not preferable, I would like anything but black. I don’t need the added solar heat. The fit was excellent. I was able to tighten the vest enough that it greatly reduced the bounce while running. The bounce reduction made this vest comfortable to run or walk in. And the weight (I.e., 10 lbs) is very manageable to run or walk in. Super easy to put on and tighten accordingly. The snug fit is preferable to run in. And feels very durable. When there is a lot of bounce it feels that the shoulder straps will give way, but not with this vest. The vest functions as intended and is one of the better vests I had tried. The limited bounce of this vest makes the value per cost exceptional. Overall, great vest. 10 out of the 10. I would recommend.
I don't drive and I carry a student type backpack with me whenever I go anywhere, which weighs on average about seven pounds though sometimes I am laden down much more heavily with groceries, etc. About the only time I do not take my backpack with me when I leave home is when I'm simply walking for exercise and enjoyment. But if I am walking for exercise, why should that be the only occasion of not carrying weight? After viewing a video of a lady a little bit older than myself extolling how much she and other ladies enjoyed using a weighted vest for fitness and weight loss, and I decided to give that a try in hopes that it is a more ergonomic way to carry weight at times when I don't actually need to be carrying stuff in a backpack. This is a well made piece of gear made of neoprene and seems to be filled with sand. There is a piece of elastic at the bottom of the arm holes on either side to help it to flex for putting on and taking off. Its only adjustment point is the chest strap which has a slide adjustment. It does not need to be tight, it can be relatively loose and still do its job. I do not think this size is for men unless it is a small man. I am a large framed woman of normal weight and I feel like this fits me snugly but acceptable. I also feel the ten pound weight of the vest suits me well because it's a bit heavier than my everyday basic load when wearing my backpack but not too much more especially since the weight of the vest is much better centered over my center of gravity than my backpack is. Today I had the first major opportunity to give this vest a try, a very beautiful early fall day when a friend wanted to go for a walk. We ended up walking about six miles. I found it easy to wear. It does make walking feel like a bit more work than if I didn't have it on but is pretty comfortable. On the moderate day I was not too warm in the neoprene vest, It did not chafe in any way. I did not get to wear the thing for the whole 6 miles though. After a mile and a half I offered to my friend to feel what the vest was like and helped her put it on. She never did give it back until we were actually approaching my house; she liked how it made her instinctively want to stand straighter to balance the weight, and the idea that she could get more exercise without taking any more time than the walk would otherwise talk also appealed to her. By the end of the walk she wanted to know what it cost and was interested in getting one of her own, though she was still on the fence about whether it was worth it to her for about thirty dollars. I pointed out to her that it can also be worn when she does aerobics at the gym, though she fretted that it might make her look bulky like a football player. To me she looks fine. I think vanity is a sin and people worry too much what they look like. Working to improve your basic health is admirable. My friend and I are both well into middle age which is a time off life when habits of strength building exercise matter more than ever for staying mobile and thriving in old age. We also both consider exercise to be important to our cognitive and brain health. Next time I will go out walking without her and no one will take the vest from me.
I’m 5”8 160 I ordered the 15 pound! I love it and it’s definitely worth it/heavy! If you are a beginner when it comes to working out I suggest to start with the 10 pound no more than 15pound depending on (your height/ weight) ! Once you start to progress then you can upgrade to a heavier weight! No smell on the vest! Effectiveness ✅ durability ✅ stretchable ✅ no sand leakage ✅ Order now and get I shape 👌🏽🎁
Love it! I have the 10 pounds which is perfect for me at this time. I like to wear it throughout the day while cleaning my house and when I’m taking my walks. It fits snug and does not loosen up during the day while I am moving around. Super comfortable to wear.
Chaleco de entrenamiento de buena calidad, con costuras bien hechas y tiras elásticas ajustables en los hombros que lo hacen cómodo. El peso de 10 libras se distribuye bien y no incomoda. Muy buena compra.
Added this to my home gym. I have been using this on my treadmill and actually really enjoying it. This vest is comfortable and fits nicely.it has a strap in the front so you can loosen or tighten it and the “sleeves” are stretchy too.
Este chaleco me encantó hace la diferencia para caminar quemas más calorías
This has truly taken my workout to another level. I ordered the 15lb vest and I love it. It’s easy to put on and take off, the quality of the straps are great. I often walk slouched over, but this supports my posture and it does help. I plan to order another one in the near future.
I’ve been looking for a way to level up my fitness without jumping straight into heavy plates, and this 10lb weighted vest is the sweet spot. If you’re a beginner or just looking to add a little "oomph" to your routine, this is a fantastic investment. Why I love it: • Beginner Friendly: 10 pounds might not sound like much, but over a 30-minute session, you really feel the burn. It adds just enough resistance to increase your heart rate without straining your joints or ruining your form. • Versatile for Workouts: It stays snug and doesn't bounce around too much. I’ve used it for: • Treadmill Walks: Turns a standard incline walk into a serious calorie burner. • Bodyweight Exercises: Great for adding difficulty to squats, lunges, and step-ups. • Low-Profile Design: One of my favorite things is just wearing it while walking around the house. I’ll put it on while doing chores or tidying up, and it’s comfortable enough that I almost forget it’s there—until I take it off and feel incredibly light! The Verdict: If you're starting your fitness journey or want to maximize your "NEAT" (non-exercise activity thermogenesis) while doing housework, get this. It’s well-constructed, comfortable, and provides the perfect amount of resistance to see progress.
I was honestly surprised by how good the quality is for the price. The vest feels really well made and the weight is definitely noticeable, but it’s still super comfortable to wear. It doesn’t dig into your shoulders or feel awkward like some weighted gear can. I’ve been using it just while walking and you can really feel the extra workout without it being uncomfortable. It stays in place well and feels secure while moving. Overall I’m really happy with it and it’s a great way to add a little more intensity to everyday workouts.
I love the fit very comfortable 🙏🏾
This vest is heavy, but I don’t think it’s 10 pounds. It’s so uncomfortable to wear. The straps are not good quality. It’s supposed to be a tool to exercise and it’s flimsy and doesn’t stay on right.
Really like this for working out and wearing around the house. I have an adjustable vest that’s much bulkier but this is great because it’s less bulky.
Received today and haven’t actually used it but it definitely has the weight you need!! It fit snugged which I’m fine with that and it’s probably how it’s supposed to fit lol. I can’t wait to start using it tomorrow with my 1 hour walking/weight loss journey!! Very nice material, I recommend it 100%
Great fit. Comfortable! And it’s PURPLE?
Barely has 2 weeks with it and already getting torn from straps
I go on walk during my lunch break and this gives me a good little workout in!
