I am giving this item 4 stars because it does the job for me but if you are looking for something bright and that helps you see and/or illuminates your area a lot, this is not it. I just wanted it for a dim light for when I am walking and not too bright for bugs so I am satisfied but I wanted them bright for my backyard and they are not. :/ I will be keeping them though because it’s not too bad. The last picture is from my backyard.

Love these solar lights. Very relaxing and has a Zen feel to it. These are not very bright, just like I wanted. Easy to put together too.

Arrived exactly on time wrapped in a sturdy box. All 12 light up! Saving 6, (of 12 for later). Don't forget to turn on & let charge in sunlight. I Did b4 even putting them stems on... Ensures they'll all lite up. Ground Stakes are inside the hollow stem that the lights attach to. Always check b4 contacting their great customer service. I've ordered from this company 3 times now. Never a problem. The first landscape solar lights, slightly different design & a bit larger, most but maybe 2, are still working from 2+ years ago!! They were very reasonably priced. These are decorative lights not to be confused with bright pathway lights. But yet I can see them at the end of my yard easily. They are plastic but sturdy. We live in Florida, so they have withstood heavy rains/winds & bright direct sun! I also put a couple lites without the stem/stake, inside a burned out fairylight cage that hangs in our lanai. See Pic. Other pic in planter shows the newly bought light next to their older pathway lights from 2 yrs ago. Sorry I didn't take when dark, but I promise they work well!

I absolutely adore these little lantern lights! I think they look like little old-style Japanese bamboo houses with the paper paneling. (Some have called them fairy houses.) I imagine my little villagers living in my solar garden in these cute little homes. I loved them so much I bought another package of 8 and my little solar village has since doubled. These do have the soft white panes and give off a nice lived in appearance at night with the light on. I was worried about that feature just being a photoshopped trick to show that the light was on. (The Walmart brand only had the squared framework and no white panels, so yeah I was a little bit worried about these being the same. Until they arrived and whoo-hoo! Actual white paneling!) So definitely worth the extra money to buy these from Gigalumi rather than Walmart's. These are small and put off a nice friendly light. They aren't bright enough to light your pathways or yard for seeing where you're going. They are a great and stylish yard, garden or path accent decorative feature. Night or day they look beautiful in both. They light up all night with a good charge, usually mine are getting enough sunlight, so no problems with them. Today was a cloudy, rainy day and they're lit up now and going strong. I would suggest, as with installing any solar lights with ground stakes, to dig a hole to plant them in. The plastic on these isn't too strong and would break if you try to just shove them into the ground. I dug my hole deep enough that the lantern sits level on the ground, like a little house would. They sit out there in my garden surrounded by flowers and plants and other solar decoration lighting that look like trees compared in size. The rest is up to your imagination. I love to sit out on the porch in the evenings and be mesmerized by the light show. Best wishes for you all, sayonara!

It is difficult to complain about a light that is produced, shipped, transported to distribution center, delivered with tax and profit for $3 per light- amazing. The lights are less than amazing. Do not rely on these for pathway lighting unless it is pitch black. Light is very weak, really just an accent 'glow'. Lights are very small. I chose the flame version which I would not do again as the effect looks like a flickering light bulb about to burn out. The pictures provided here are totally misleading (not that I expected it to look like that but still...). However, at $3 per it is not a bad deal. I don't regret, but would not buy again. Changing the above from 3 to 4 stars. The value is good, the 'flame' version is actually pretty cute when in the dark. Again the lights are small, but considering pretty good. I don't have in direct sun for that long, lasts 2-3 hours.

These aren’t very big and aren’t really bright. If you’re using for path lighting you may want to consider a bigger and brighter light. If you’re using for accent lighting, then these are what you want.

These work great. Reason why I chose these is because unlike a lot of other brands…the batteries are replaceable. That’s a big deal because most are soldered to the board and when they go bad you have to toss them out. These have a long life because you can replace the batteries. Perfect

I love these solar lights. They're easy to install, look beautiful in my garden, and give off a lovely warm glow at night. Plus, they're waterproof and charge during the day to illuminate at night.

Lovely little Japanese houses. I got them for my moss garden. Beautiful light, but not very strong. If you look for good light I would not choose them but if you just want a nice mood, they are beautiful.

We’ve used these lights for a full season and I’m pleased with the performance. The units themselves still look good and the batteries seem to be holding a charge so far.

These are cute but they ate not bright enough for my liking. If you do not want bright rather like dim lights these are for you.

These are cheap in every sense of the word. Cheap in price, cheap in quality. It IS a decent alternative to spending a large amount of money on landscaping lights. They hold up over time provided wildlife doesn't dismantle them....which does happen.

This is my second order, first set worked out great so wanted to add more. Put them all out and 4 of the 16 don't work, will have to take apart to get battery info. Hopefully that's all it is. They look great and came on thar 1st night. Really show up great. The older ones are still just as bright as the newer ones.

They look great. Just keep in mind that they won’t last over a year. I do love their appearance so I purchased another set on month 11.

We bought these over a year ago, finally found the box ! and set them up today. All the parts were there, and they assembled properly, and turned on, but i had no idea how low light they are when I ordered them. There is a singular old-school LED inside the lantern, not the typical LED PACK you expect to see. By the way, the on/off switch is inside the lantern, you have to twist off the lantern from the solar cell to turn it on, and the LED is not going to illuminate much. Theres a picture of the LED in the product description pictures, and sure enough, its a old school bread-board LED component - exactly as advertised, just not what I expected. They look decent, if you want decor, but if you want actual light-on-path, you'll need another product. It isn't what I wanted, but I'll still use them. Instead of lighting the sidewalk, they'll accent the flowerpots. Also, to be clear, I have no idea about battery, either life-span, or replacement, and there is no wiring involved. Not sure why thats a suggested review item.

I love these lights and have bought many over the years, but my last batch have been disappointing because some don’t work. A bad switch perhaps? I’d like to hear back from the seller please.
