I bought this for the VIVO adjustable desk to manage a lot of cables for the monitor, camera, speakers, and lighting. It was easy to tap the holes for the screws so I could get it right where I needed it. There are round holes in the top mounting side of the unit that you could use to run the cable to the top of the desk if you cut through the desktop. Given where I positioned this to one side of the desk, I drilled a hole and ran the cables up the center. Overall, I'm thrilled with the purchase. It does a great job of making it look like a clean, professional installation, and keeps all the cords in place when the desk goes up and down. The size was just right for the number of cables and power brick I had to manage. The color matches the other desk part exactly.

I love this item so much, it makes my wires super organized and it holds them well. The white appearance goes cleanly with my white desk frame, and the size is perfect to fit a lot of wires. It has amazing functionality and comes with 2 screws. I do recommend pre drilling holes so you do not ruin your desk, and ensure that your desk is thick enough that the screws won’t pierce through.

This cable management tray was exactly what I needed to get all of the cords off the floor and organized underneath my desk\. It feels sturdy, has plenty of room for my power strip and extra cables, and keeps everything tucked away nicely\. Installation was straightforward, and once it was installed, it made a surprisingly big difference in how clean and organized my desk setup looks\. I especially like that everything is hidden underneath the desk instead of having cables hanging everywhere\. It’s simple, sturdy, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do\. Definitely recommend it if you’re trying to clean up your desk setup\!

I was trying to figure out how to secure a power brick and cables to a light source underneath my sit-stand desk, so I took a photo of the underside of my desk and asked ChatGPT - this product is what was suggested. The 17' VIVO tray worked well for my needs. It has to large round cutouts on the bottom of it, which works for feeding cables through, but I think it was mainly so that you could reach the two screw holes for installation. The tray is made of thin metal with a powder coated finish. it's slightly flexible, but not easy to bend. It could be installed with strong double sided tape, or with the included two Philips wood screws which are about 3/4' long. I used a 1/8' drill bit to pre-drill holes and used a manual screwdriver to attach the tray to the underside of my desk. I had the open part of the tray facing to the backside of my desk which faces a wall. From the front of the desk, this offered the cleanest look, but some may want to reverse it. The tray is a great size for what I needed it to do. I fit the power prick and cabling, with room to spare. It would easily fit a power strip of the appropriate length too. I can see where you could buy multiples of these and put them all along the backside of your desk for cable management and organization that hides things away. They are easy to install and make getting to the cables contained in them, easy to do. They are sturdy, and should last for the life of the desk. If you need 'em - get 'em. You won't be disappointed.

Works great under the desk and fits a fairly bulky extension cord in it.

This cable management tray made a big difference in cleaning up the mess of cords under my desk. It’s sturdy, easy to install, and holds a power strip and extra cables without any problem. Once everything was in the tray, the area under the desk looked much more organized.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do and comes with screws. Installation was easy once I drilled pilot holes and used a screwdriver. The only downside is that a longer drill bit would have made the process easier, but that was on me for not checking beforehand.

Only critique= the size of the nails were too big. There weren’t specifications on the nail length/thickness. If you have a small/thin wood desktop, the screws will split or crack the wood. The tray was made of good material, clean & everything I was looking for. The size was perfect for standard sizes surge protector.

Perfect for creating a “compartment” under your workstation to organize and gather wires. Product feels solid and is well finished - NOT flimsy at all. Smooth surfaces with no metallic buts whatsoever. Easy to install with even just a screwdriver and some old fashioned manual work. I skipped the drill. The supplied screws are self tapping. Product installs fast and is unobtrusive. Minimalist design. Happy with purchase.

This worked great! I put it facing the back of the desk to make a clean aesthetic. You can even use gorilla glue double sided tape to mount this (if the bottom of your desk is a smooth surface) just make sure you give it time to cure

This review is for the 'Standard - White' variant. I bought it during a sale, for ~$25. Shipping arrived a day later than it was supposed to - Oh well. Packaging was minimal, though enough to protect the product. Everything arrived in one box and had no signs of manufacturing error. The matte- or powder-coating white is quality and does not scrape. However, the physical product feels very flimsy. Even to the touch, the part of the tray meant to hold everything noticeably gives - then more, the harder you press or pull! Material-wise, this cable tray is at-best described as 'okay'. The caveats... The already mentioned flimsy build-quality is one thing. But, furthermore, the holding area is surprisingly thin. I can't fully fit my extension cord and then fit the power brick for my one monitor - I had to cram everything with awkward positioning. You may want to look elsewhere or spend the extra dollar for the 'Extra Deep' variant. As well, there are no proper tools to assist you in screwing/drilling the tray into your desk - You get a couple of screws in a plastic baggie, then a manual giving some technical advice and warning about DIY. Plus, the holes for where you are to screw the tray into your desk have extremely awkward positioning. You're going to need tape (or something else) to keep the tray in place, then a long drill or screwdriver. These issues implore me to remove two stars from my review. P.S. - I have attached images showing how I've used my cable tray, alongside some cable clips. Please have a look. (This is something of a joint-review with those cable clips, as I will be using the same photos for that product review.)

I purposely got this model vs. the more common clamp-on models to have less clutter on the desk. Great idea in principle - bad move in terms of installation. Aside from the general annoyance of trying to measure the hole placement to drill into my desk (measure twice, drill once!), the design of this makes drilling the holes properly VERY difficult. This is because the bottom lip is in the way. There are large holes on the bottom, but it doesn't really help you when 1. marking the drill holes, 2. actually drilling, and 3. you will need a long, heavy duty screwdriver to reach through the bottom hole. Even just reaching a hand in to mark the screw holes is really difficult. So be warned of that. But once it is installed, it's exactly what I needed. Got two of them and after an hour of frustration, I'm happy with it.

Mounted 8 of those under my office desk, no more power strips and wires on the floor. Slightly pricey though.

This worked perfectly because I have a 12 outlet Amazon Basics surge protector - this fit perfectly in the bottom and could plug everything into it.

It was a pain to get mounted on my desk because of my incompetence but it has done its job.

Holds wires well

Awesome. I like the open side for access and convenience. So nice to hide those ugly wires. Fits well, sturdy, I didn’t want to nail it in so I used a few layers of strong double sided tape. It fell once but I redid it stronger.

Nothing much to say except that it is a well constructed metal management tray. Installation was easy with the provided screws and two holes underneath the tray allows for greater flexibility.
