Alternative use. We use this in our daycare as a large leggo storage box. The edges are rounded off. Its plenty sturdy and looks great!

We ordered two of these above ground 6 foot metal raised garden beds, as our first step into front yard gardening. We purchased a truckload of good gardening soil, and started planting in April. This year we reaped. This year we reaped a harvest more than I could’ve ever hoped!

I ended up buying multiple of these raised garden beds in this size and used them as intended as 4x2x1 beds. I also used multiple sets together to create a flower bed in front of a long porch, and then used the extra curved pieces to make a circle around a small new tree. That ended up being a useful little protected area while the tree gets established. What I like: • Good quality for the price and what I expected • Looks nice once planted without looking overly fancy • The raised height helps flowers and plants stand out more • Makes the garden bed look more finished and intentional • Easier to plant in without bending over as much • Flexible enough to use in more than one layout if you buy multiple sets • The extra curved pieces were useful for creating a small circle around a new tree • Works well for flowers, plants, and smaller garden setups Things to be aware of: • Assembly was okay, but not effortless • The pieces can give a little while assembling • It helps to have two people so everything stays straight and lined up • These are not the heaviest-duty raised beds out there • There are sturdier options available if you want to spend more money • They look nice, but they are not fancy or high-end • You do not necessarily have to fill the entire bed with soil • I usually use twigs, logs, or similar organic material in the bottom couple inches as filler • I try to leave about 9 inches for root growth, though some plants may need the full 12 inches Overall: These raised garden beds have worked well for me, especially for the price. They are not fancy or heavy duty, but they look nice once planted, make gardening easier, and are a good option if you want a reasonably priced raised bed setup.

Perfect for garden and easy to put together. Only problem is didn’t come with rim cover like small ones did to prevent sharp edges.

Easy to put together.

Came as advertised with no surprises. Seems to be pretty solid once I got all the screws and braces in. We will see how it does on the job in our garden. It does bend pretty easily, which, for the price and 0.78mm thickness, I expected. I will put it to the test later this season and drop another comment

When I got the small box the raised bed came in, I could not believe it would end up Such a big size. I assembled it all by myself, And it was so easy to do. The color was a Beautiful blue, and it will go between the two white ones I have. Looking forward to Getting them all planted and displayed. One old lady can do it alone!!!

I have the first of the two I purchased assembled ready to position fill and plant be sometime before a week. Any benefits, but happy so far with what appears to be a desired solution.

Really helpful if you want to raise a garden bed. Very Sturdy and holds lot of soil and good for vegetable plants.

These things are great. Use them for my butterfly gardens. Not too heavy. I can move them around when I need to switch them up. Not too big and not too small. Also perfect for planting bulbs with added chicken coop wire protection. So much easier than on the ground.

Easy to put together and lightweight to carry to exact spot for placement of item. I encountered no rough edges while putting it together. It included to sets of instructions. I placed cardboard down to smother the grass, and layered debris Hugelkulture style. The durability has been good thus far and it's versatile because it can be placed literally anywhere you would like it to be with flowers or veggies or herbs planted in it season after season. The color is spot on and does leave a grimy residue on the skin which washes of easily with hot soapy water.

ORIGINAL 1-Star: I ordered this garden planter set because it appeared to be a good value and it would fit my needs. I have a large project in my landscape and this will work well for it. My first disappointment came when the promised delivery date slipped and set me behind by one day. The second disappointment came when I opened the box and checked the build instructions and parts list to verify that everything was undamaged and all the parts were present. The instructions consist of a single sheet of paper with the parts list (for one planter) and a build diagram with individual components labeled to match the parts list. The build appears to be very easy. If you have a Phillips-style screwdriver and a crescent wrench you can assemble this planter. Of course you need to have all the parts. That is the second disappointment. My kit is missing all 8 of the connecting rods that are supposed to span the middle of the planter and help it hold its shape after soil is added. I would already be finished assembling these two planters if those parts had made it into the box. Instead I am wasting time here leaving a poor rating. The product looks to be durable. The galvanized parts are well-made and should present no difficulties in using them nor should they fail in the foreseeable future. The box that it was shipped in arrived with minimal damage to one corner and none of the panels are bent. The bolts and nuts and other connectors are contained in separate packages, one for each planter. Unfortunately there are no connecting rods in the box and they need to be M6-1.0 thread to be able to connect to the other hardware. Metric threaded rod is not available locally or I would make my own and call it even. I have contacted the seller and will update this review once I find a resolution. UPDATED to 2 Star: The seller contacted me within 1.5 hours to resolve this problem. That's a very good sign in my book so I have bumped the rating to 2 stars. We are working on resolving the problem and I will adjust this later depending on how it goes. The product appears to be suitable for its designed purpose. UPDATE #2 to 1 Star: After trying for 2 days to work with the seller to get missing parts replaced (they offered to send another new set of two 8x4x1 beds) I am returning these and buying a similar product from a different seller for $6 more money. They did offer to send a new set but never acknowledged having my shipping information even though I replied twice with the order number and the requested information. They have apparently ghosted me since they have not replied to any dialog in more than one day. While I had the panels here I compared them to a product from a different seller that I bought for my wife to see whether I could find any difference in panel thickness as others have reported. I found the panels from Vegega to be 0.74+mm and the panels in this Land Guard set from Cyantor-US to be 0.42mm using dial calipers. That measurement was taken on the single-thickness corrugated edge of each panel for consistency. The measurement reported in the photo is 0.78mm but as you can see it is taken at the top edge of a panel where the edge has been folded over to double thickness giving a misleading thickness comparison. I am returning these for two reasons - 1) missing parts and 2) unresponsive customer service from the seller. If one wanted to keep the set and deal with the issue locally you could buy materials from a local retailer to serve the purpose of the stabilizing rods. Some all-thread and appropriate nuts and washers would make this usable for me. That would involve mixing SAE and metric nuts/threads though since there are no retailers who carry metric threaded rods as normal inventory. You would need to order the metric rods. If you did that you could replace all the threaded parts with SAE parts for consistency but this will cost you more than you would spend sending this back and ordering a similar product from a different seller. I chose to replace this with the product from Plant and Plot Store where they offer the same 8x4x1 two piece set. We'll see how that goes. Update #3: I received a replacement set with all parts included and went ahead and built the two planters. They are easy to build and once all the nuts are tightened it is a stable unit that can be carried easily by one person and placed wherever you need it. Plan to have about 2 yards of soil and materials to fill the two containers. Each one will take about 29 cubic feet of stuff which is slightly more than one yard, (27 cu. ft.) Note that unlike some of the garden planters available on Amazon this set does not include any rubber or plastic edging for the top edge of the completed planter. Since the edges of the panels do not line up well there will be sharp corners sticking up. I bought some automotive door edging from a local auto parts store to cover each edge. It takes 20' of edging to go all the way around. That's an additional cost of...

My husband bought three of these galvanized planters for the back yard alone a brick wall with southern sun just this past spring. We like them so much I bought 2 more only a month ago. We have not assembled the new ones yet, but the first 3 were so exactly as described and perfect we are hoping the same for these. Our first set of three sit on our new gravel driveway inside a yard fenced off of the alley. In Washington state all houses in towns have road access front and back making properties better accessible especially for emergency services. Our first three are backed by one giant trellis my husband designed and installed by hanging a wall of cyclone fencing from the rafters of our brick garage. This sunny spot greatly improves our short growing season.

Great buy and it’s the right size that will look great in my backyard. Don’t hesitate to by two. That’s what I found out because once you buy one. You will see how many other places you can use them.

This is the third time I have purchased this product. I like its small size of two feet by four feet by one foot deep. It is easy to assemble, but If you assemble it outside, I suggest using a mat or tarp beneath so the screws and nuts don’t get lost in the grass or through the spaces of a deck. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a wrench. It took me about a half hour to assemble due to clumsy fingers. Also, once you put it where you want it, I suggest you line the bottom with cardboard to prevent growth of weeds from the bottom for the first year or two.

These landed on our porch 20 minutes ago, we have them all put together. Only issue is some of the nuts aren’t burr free, there are extras just in case. I’m planning to buy more, the 4 foot length is perfect. The cat likes them too.

Absolutely love my galvanized raised bed. Easy to put together. Looks terrific in my garden bed. Very pleased all around!

I wouldn't say it's super easy to put together on your own, due to how it curves; it's much easier with two people. But the assembly is easy to figure out. I did end up using a wrench to tighten the bolts. Very lightweight when assembled, so you can place it afterwards. The corners of each section do have some sharp points, so just be careful with those. Quality is good I think, as it is stable when assembled, and there's no bottom so drainage depends on how you fill it. Perfect height for my herbs and carrots.

Love this. This was so easy to setup and perfect for my first garden. It was a great value for the money I spent. The color was perfect and moisture retention was amazing.

I love this! It works great! Assembles easily and looks very nice. I put it out under my living room windows next to my patio. I filled it with dirt and some beautiful flowers and I just love it! It has such a clean look and the flowers are raised so they stand out more. It seems very durable. Highly recommend for flowers or to grow a few veggies or herbs in.
