First, let me address why I took one star off of this set. The product description said this set is microwave-safe. However, when you read the side of the box (first picture), it indicates the lids are super delicate and need to be washed by hand. The lids are an interesting design, with a lip to lock in steam and a steam vent you can open. Overall, I'm impressed, but finding out that the lids are super delicate was enough to take a star off. Ideally, they would include all the information on the product. Thank you.

These are nice, substantial food storage containers. The glass has some weight to it and feels much sturdier than some of the thinner glass containers I've used over the years. I definitely don't get the impression that I'm going to chip one just by looking at it wrong! What impressed me most, though, is how well the lids seal. They fit exceptionally well and give me a lot more confidence when I'm storing something with liquid or tossing a container into the refrigerator where it's inevitably going to get moved around. I also appreciate being able to use the glass in the microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher. I would much rather store and reheat food in glass than plastic whenever I can, so these are exactly the kind of containers I tend to reach for. Good heavy glass, excellent seal, and just an all-around solid food storage container. Very happy with these.

When I first saw the price of these storage containers I had to do some research. They're not your typical food storage containers. Even at 'off brand', the borosilicate glass and silicone is a selling point. In addition to reading up on this 'feature', read the package instructions about the lids. They're very versatile, but they're not oven safe, even though the containers themselves are. So what exactly ARE these containers? They are oven and microwave safe. In fact you can take the container from fridge to microwave -- lid and all -- safely. There is a small tab in one corner that you open to let steam come out and once safely cooled on the surface, remove the lid and you have a serving dish, albeit a small one in this case. You can see your food from the sides and the top and the only restriction appears to be that you can't store these on top of one another if the contents are heavy. Again, reading up on the product can give you an idea of the care considerations -- nothing out of the ordinary other than handwashing the lids and being careful about storage (to protect the silicone from separating from the glass). Value? Given the quality of the materials and the freezer to oven claim, close. What got it over the finish line for me was stickability. Too often this kind of container doesn't stack well -- or at all. Not sure why. As shown in the picture, these stack almost as 'cleanly' as their plastic counterparts. The contents in the picture were microwaved the next day with the lid on and vent open per instructions with no issues. As for other uses, we've found them handy for small portions (two servings) of leftovers for lunches and for make-ahead things like hash browns and the like. The same kind of glass and silicone cookware can probably be found for full-sized casseroles for the family sized family out there. But for empty nesters looking for an easy way to plan ahead or manage two-meal leftovers, this is a godsend.

We’ve been slowly replacing our plastic food storage with glass, and this four pack of containers is the perfect size for standard leftovers and basic meal prep. They hold a generous portion, and the design is really nice, the warm brown silicone glass lids look great in the fridge and stack super neatly in the cupboard so they won't add to the chaos of your storage cabinet. The nicest feature for me is the built in steam vent on the lid. I bring these to the office for lunch, and being able to pop the vent open while microwaving keeps my food from drying out. The seal is tight and reliable for travel as well. However, there is a noticeable discrepancy between the website listing and the paperwork included in the box. The online description claims both the glass and lids are dishwasher safe, but the product packaging explicitly states the lids are hand wash only and cannot handle high heat. Because of this, we’ve been hand washing the lids to be safe, which makes them a bit less convenient than our old storage setup. They are probably fine in the washing machine if you don't mind shortening their lifespan, but it's something to keep in mind. Overall, these are decent quality, stackable, and great for office lunches, provided you don't mind the minor inconvenience of hand washing the lids.

These containers are a good size and the lids fit securely without leaking. I like that the glass feels sturdy and they’re easy to clean. Being microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe makes them really convenient for everyday use.

It was small for my needs.

I was really happy with how these arrived, being packaged so nicely and keeping all the pieces from breaking in transit. They're really sturdy and not extremely heavy moving around, but still feel like high-quality glass. In fact, I accidentally dropped one and it didn't even cause a crack. I grabbed the 35oz size in the brown color, and it's just right for a good-sized meal, making them so good to use for leftovers, meal prep, or small meals throughout the week. What I really love is that I can use them in the microwave, and they cook really well. I have some glass containers that take so long to actually heat the food while the container itself takes way too long to cool down, but these take half the time to cool off. The added feature of the steam button gives my food just the right amount of steam to heat up evenly. Just remember to press the edges down first and then close the vent for a totally secure seal. They clean very easily without any juices sticking and absorbing into the materials causing them to stink or get mildew smelling like other brands I've bought. These feature a pure silicone interior with zero plastic touching your food, and I can give them a simple wash and they're perfectly clean. The seal on the lids stays nice and secure and doesn't shrink or warp from microwave use. Plus, they're completely multi-use. They're safe for the freezer down to -40°F, dishwasher safe, and the glass itself can even go in the oven up to 500°F if you leave the lid off. They're 100% leak-proof for soups and sauces, and for the cost of a little over $10 a piece, I'm most definitely buying another set. I can't express how nice it is to have a good quality set of containers like these that aren't extremely heavy, but are actually really good quality.

This glass container felt sturdy as soon as I picked it up, and the 35 ounce size gives it enough room for a full meal without feeling oversized. I filled it with pasta and sauce to check the capacity, then secured the lid and gently tilted the container in several directions. The seal held tightly, and I did not see any liquid working its way around the edges. The ocean blue color also looks clean and adds a little personality without being too bright. The combination of glass and silicone feels well thought out. The glass base has a reassuring weight and stayed stable on the counter while I added food. It also makes it easy to see what is inside from the sides. The silicone portion of the lid has enough flexibility to press into place, but it does not feel thin or loose. I could tell when the seal was fully seated because the lid settled evenly around the rim. I especially like the steam vent in the top. I opened it before warming the food so steam could escape without needing to remove the entire lid. That kept the microwave cleaner and made the container more convenient to use. The vent was easy to open with a fingertip and closed firmly afterward. I still handled the container carefully after heating because the glass became warm, but the lid stayed in place and did not distort. The shape is practical for both storage and eating directly from the container. The opening is wide enough to reach the corners with a fork, and the smooth interior did not trap sauce along complicated ridges. After emptying it, I rinsed the glass and lid, and both cleaned up easily. I did not notice any lingering smell from the food during this initial use. The lid has a more polished look than the usual plastic storage top. The blue silicone border and glass center make it easy to see the contents from above, which is helpful when several containers are in the refrigerator. The seal does require pressing around the edges to make sure everything is closed, but that only took a few seconds and felt secure once finished. This container made a very good impression. It has a useful capacity, a dependable seal, and a lid that can stay on while reheating with the vent open. The sturdy glass base and attractive blue details make it feel nicer than a basic leftover container, and it handled a saucy meal without leak

These meal prep containers meet all of my requirements and I am very picky. There is absolutely nothing I would change. Well done!
