I have an upstairs patio my dogs enjoy all year. This new insulated one is a game changer! Was the easiest install of any magnetic door ive purchased. The magnets seam to be much stronger than any of brands ive used also. Definitely recommend.

This is fantastic for my dogs. I live in a 1923 bungalow so putting in a dog door is really not an option with the plaster and brick. This keeps the cool air in the heat out as well as the weather, but my dogs can access outside very easily. The magnets are the best. They are very heavy and secure and I love that it’s weighted at the bottom to keep it sealed well. It also comes with tax that you can use for extra stability, but the Velcro is more than enough for me.

UPDATE: after a year we got a couple holes (my fault) from closing the door on it. But for the price, I’m more than happy to buy another one because it has been invaluable to us to be able to leave the door open and have the dogs free to go in and out. OccupationGot this to use in my RV so that the dogs can still go in and out the door without me always having to open it every time. It has been durable it’s my small and medium dog. I can snap it back when we don’t need it. When the temperature is moderate, I would say between 60 and 80° it works best keeping out the elements and the heat and cold in that temperature range. Higher than 80 and it depends on where the sun is, but it doesn’t have a lot of heat resistance so it gets warm enough that it starts heating the air up. Colder than 60 and you do get a cold draft that comes under it. if I hang it any lower, it gets caught on the metal. But maybe with a regular door you wouldn’t have to worry about that. I liked it well enough I ordered a second one for my home in a larger size. The magnets are awesome on it. Closes up and stays close better than any of the ones I ever bought in the store. I love that the magnets run down the whole length of the middle. Great value for the money. And for us, they’ve been very dog friendly.

Ok. This was a situation where our back exterior door is not insulated and has a full length window grid. The door was having so much condensation on the panes it was dripping onto the floor. We decided to give this curtain a try before replacing the door. The value for the money is excellent. The curtain is the best thing I have purchased all year. It’s perfect for going in and out without having to worry about bugs getting inside. Also the magnetic close in the middle allows you to exit and enter without using you hands. You can just walk through with ease and it closes back by itself. It’s very sturdy and as clear as a bell to see outside. I go in and out a lot to feed my animals and my husband to grill. The installation was very easy and the fit was perfect! I can’t say enough good things about this. The main takeaway is my door no longer pours water from condensation and the curtain has insulated our back door with the thickness needed to save energy to boot. I am VERY pleased!

Its great. Arrived next day. Supper easy to install. The adhesive on the velcro is extra sticky. As long as the surface is clean its going to stick and its not going anywhere. Seems like a good quality product. I had an as seen on TV one last year and the adhesive was garbage.

If you need something that keeps the cold in and the hot in this is the ticket. When I lived in NY it was the perfect I. Between in the south I see us using this all summer long

Ok door insulator. Thin plastic you could feel the cold when standing near but sealed well. Very clear to see outside compared to others but that's the thiness. Nice sid3 hooks to hold open if you want.

This turned out to be a great option! It was easy to install, has a nice clean look, the velcro has held up so far without issue. The screen tie-backs work great. Follow the instructions and you will be good to go. This is a temporary fix for a remodeling project going on, so it will come down after the project is done. Not sure how the velcro will tear away from the wall but the wall is going to need work, so I'm not worried about that part of it. They did include tacks for a bit of a more permanent application, but I did not need those. The fit was perfect! The magnetic door opening closes without issue. I would definitely recommend for at least a temporary fix; I can't speak to those looking for something permanent. This was also used on a doorway inside the house and not exposed to any outdoor weather elements.

My dog loves to run in and out of the house. This is perfect for him.

Finally found something for my storm door. How long it will last, I don't know as my cats are enjoying running in and out plus don't know if it will hold up in the weather. Wish it came in a 36'x 83'. Also the weights are not as strong as I would like as it doesn't close once the cats run inside. It will take a few seconds to close. As you can see my cats are enjoying the door screen. Update: my cats have put some holes in the door curtain and I have taped them over and it still works great for keeping the cold out. Will buy another one after they ruin this one because it is great for keeping the cold out and the cold wind unless it's a very strong wind. Magnets aren't strong enough for very windy weather.

PERFECT! I Actually placed on/over security door, so we could have door open when wood stove going... it kept in heat with also being able to see out

Quality is very good. The insulation does seem to do the job well. If I had to rate this, I’d give 4 stars because the magnets are not as strong as I expected. The screen sometimes stays open near the mid to bottom area and the very bottom strip just flaps around when it’s windy. I’m sure you could add more magnets if you wanted to. But other than that, I would recommend this item. My dogs were scared at first because of the noise it makes (like plastic crunching), but they got used to it.

got for using in winter to let dogs come and go when I am home. I was worried in the summer this would generate heat. Nope, it's almost 100F and it keeps the sunroom's cool air inside. Love it.

Got this as a temporary fix while I rehab an old wood storm/screen door. Working great for this…thought the magnets might not hold well in a windy rainstorm but so far so good keeping the wet out of the threshold area of the exterior door. Dogs like it to go in and out when we are home 🙂

Surprisingly this thing works pretty good isolating our living room from kitchen when the AC is on, The magnet door works great so far just be gentle with it kinda flimsy

Love this screen! My laundry room is sooo much warmer than my house now since I hung it up in the door way. This screen is worth every penny for sure. My dog took three times to get used to it. Course, with my help to nudge her through! lol Now, she's fine and uses it like it's been there forever. Definitely a big difference and the clear is great cuz the dog can see through it and accepted it quickly. Easy installation, clear, strong magnets, worth it!

Purchased this for the outside of our kitchen door in the winter. (In the summer we have a curtain screen there), so all the velcro was in place and ready to go for the plastic barrier. I took the door measurements from the summer screen ( also purchased on Amazon) and ordered the plastic barrier in the SAME SIZE, so it would fit the velcro! Sounds easy, right? Wrong!! Below I've listed some issues (Positive and negative) to address : Negatives~ 1. The actual barrier was smaller, and the velcro didn't match up to the existing velcro. I had to create a new track closer to the door, about 2 inches inward on all 3 sides. What I thought would be a 60 second swap out, turned into a 45 minute project. Now I have 2 rows of velcro around the outside of my kitchen door, which isn't very pretty, but when the screens are up they are covered, so live and learn. 2. I wish this company had a velcro color choice. Black or white for the doors to blend in with the frames when not in use. The black stands out on my white door frame, so I may replace this summer so it doesn't look so trashy. 3. Some of the velcro lost its sticky side adhesiveness, so I had to use what I had leftover from another door. Positives~ 1. The barrier is great, now that it is up! It keeps the cold out when you open the door. 2. The velcro is strong, & the plastic is clear to see outside 3. Magnets...Some folks on here are talking about wind breaking the magnetic seal. I have not had that problem. 4. Another feature -The magnets are located inside the fabric, so you'll never lose the magnet. 5. Dogs can go in and out freely and the seal closes behind them. I will update as the winter progresses, but this was a good purchase.

Probably works great for those with patient pets. My dogs paw at the door when they want to come in, and they shredded the plastic on two of these within days.

Not quite sure what others are doing to theirs for them to break so easily but ours has been holding up well to 100lb dog tat flies through it and 2 feral toddlers who literally dont understand what gentle or easy means play open close with it. I got this for our backdoor that is frequently opened and closed and left opened between kids and animals pushing the door open and the backyard being a main play area. We are in the south and the heat is already rough so wanted this as a little barrier to not let our ac dissipate the second the door gets left open for a minute or two. I noticed a difference the second I was done hanging it. Our open concept isnt flooded with heat from outside. I love that its fully clear so I can still keep an eye on the kids on the porch and patio. Deff a good addition for anyone in that extreme heat/cold areas. We also use the screen version for the screened door on the porch. I use the velcro strips along all 3 sides and use the pins at the top only. i did the same with the clear curtain so if there ever is resistance for some reason then atleast the velcro is whats giving on the bottom/sides to help lessen chances of any rips. then clearly just reattach the curtain to the velcro. maybe that helps anyone els in the future. easy instal. worth the money.

I had this same door in a screen and had to replace because the dog eventually ripped it and bugs were coming in. I decided to get this thermal one to save on my energy bills while leaving the door open for the dog in the summer and winter. This does the job but it’s quite a bit stiffer than the screen one and the magnets seem stronger. You need to use a little more precision and force to get through it but that may ease up over time. My only complaint is the length. This is actually too long for my door but I found it impossible to purchase one that was the right length. Because of the extra length I had to rig up the bottom a bit so that it doesn’t drag and not close. I spent a lot of time trying to figure this out and it’s still not perfect. I wish they would make ones in different lengths.

Was afraid it was going to be bad quality. It is not. It’s exactly what our older rental home needed to keep our A/C in and the south eastern humidity out!

I have a dog that has challenges controlling her bladder. We have found that the only way to avoid household accidents is to leave the door open all the time (she wouldn't use the doggy door I had installed). To accomplish this we have been using the AUGO screen. But in the winter and summer, that meant issues with cold and heat. When I was replacing the latest screen (we managed to get a hole in it after two years), I found this thermal version. It is great! Keeps out the temperature extremes. Right after we installed in we have a week with temps in the 90s and it worked as a great thermal barrier. The writeup talks about the winter but it also does a great job in the summer when it's hot.
