THE DETAILS

Premium Materials Meet Thoughtful Design

Crafted from heavy-duty iron with a powder-coated black finish, this cable tray supports the weight of power strips, adapters, and cables without sagging or bending. The retractable mechanism adjusts smoothly from 18 to 29 inches, creating a custom fit for desks of all widths.

Anti-slip mounting pads grip securely to desk undersides without adhesives or hardware, protecting wood, laminate, and metal surfaces while preventing sliding during cable adjustments. The open-basket design allows easy cable routing and airflow around electronics, while the low-profile construction maintains maximum legroom.

Flimsy but hasn't bent

Fully stretched its quite flimsy. I feel like oing up a Guage in the materialwould have been very beneficial. The idea I'd great, a customizable system that has the ability to be able to extend to your own needs. The powder coat or paint seems very good and provides a minor anti slip quality. Even though the tray is flimsyit hasn't bent, but I didn't put much weight onto it. I do wish the screws could be threaded in multiple ways but it is only one way making tight spaces harder go cable manage.

Good basic cable tray for standing desks

I had no issues assembling or installing the cable tray under my electric standing desk. The metal is quite thin and the more weight you add to the tray the more the tray flexes and bends downward. The mounting brackets are heavy duty metal with no flexing. There is a lip that runs the length of the tray to prevent the surge protector from sliding off the tray when weight is added. I got 30.5in of length but you could install only 2 screws in the middle of the tray and increase the length to 32in but that goes against the install instructions and also causes less stability to an already semi-unstable product but its doable. The width of the tray its just shy of 5in which meant i was able to fit my wider 12 outlet surge protector on the tray with ease. Overall it seems to be of good value product given it also includes the tie straps and accessories. Package also included 1 screw and 1 nut extra if needed.

Good, But Slightly Awkward, Cable Management Shelf

At first glance of the seller’s main photo I thought this kit included both a long and short shelf. But it’s just a demonstration of the two short pieces you do get that bolt together to form one long shelf. The shelf is length adjustable, but you only effectively get one shelf. I’ve tried a few cable management shelves and love the concept of reclaiming space from desk hog “door stop” items like hard drives. But one annoyance with them is they don’t provide easy access to the items they hold. I don’t normally touch my drives, but sometimes they need to be unplugged to clear a glitch. This shelf does nothing to relieve this problem. Your drives or power bricks, etc. are all barricaded by an iron wall. To access them you must unscrew the tension wheels and pull it outward. It’s just extra work to power something down. That’s my main beef here. Everything else about the kit is great. I especially like that the shelf has holes below it both to circulate air and to route wires, if needed. I also appreciate that the shelf’s floor is mostly sold and not awkward wire rack or cloth. It makes for a better fit of your peripherals and looks neater. As a bonus a generous supply of other cable management holders is includes. These stick to the bottom or sides of a desk and guide cables so they don’t hang or flop. It’s both cleaner looking and safer for you and your data this way.

Keeps your cords up off the floor and organized!

This under desk organizing shelf works great. It attaches to my desk with screw on clamps that were easy to install. It keeps my power block up off the floor and keeps my cords organized. There are holes in the bottom of the tray so you can redirect your cords where they need to go and it extends to almost the full length of my desk! It looks great and disappears with all the cords behind my desk. This is great because it will extend the life of my cords and charging blocks.

HIgh quality materials, good size, will hold a lot

I picked this cable management tray bcause I have a home data center, I want to keep things organized and because the price offered was excellent for a tray of this size and features. All the load bearing parts are iron and the tray expands along a front rail and rear tracks to reach 31 inches wide (Image 4 & 5). Assembly is relatively simple (Video 7) and installation is trivial with hand cranked clamps on either end (Image 6). This is by far the most substantial management tray in width, depth of tray and materials that I've every seen. If placed on the back of your rack or compute shelf then the front (short edge) can face the network, power, usb, serial ports on the rear of your servers. I placed mine on the front of the shelf (Image 6) to hold wifi and SOHO switches and a multi-server KVM. Letting the tray extend out in front of the shelf is ideal. This one of the best management trays I've come across and the price is excellend for the quality and size.

Good but not good at hiding cables

This item will work well for a deep desk, but if the desk doesn’t have a ton of depth, it’s likely to be in the way of leg space. Otherwise, it is built well and can be set to whichever width is ideal. Since it does hang down relatively far, it doesn’t do the best job of hiding the cables from sight either. Overall, it works as advertised for the most part, and would be good for specific scenarios.

Thin somewhat flexible, but works well enough to organize cords and power adapters under my desk.

This under desk cable management tray offers an adjustable width from 18-29in. Offering a no-drill installation with anti-slip pads, this desk cable tray is great for office, gaming, standing desks, etc. The black design makes it stealthy and difficult to see under the desk to get the clutter out of sight. I've been able to organize my cords and power adapters to get them off of the floor which is great for both tidiness and also because occasionally a cable could come unplugged before down by my feet. The design is simple but functional. I wouldn't put too much weight on it because the metal is thin and somewhat flexible. The tray should be strong enough and durable enough for most power adapters, but just watch how heavy it is and ensure it's not bending.

No longer kicking loose plugs under my desk!

This one’s a great review—just needed cleanup and flow. I kept your tone but made it read smoother and more natural: This has been a game changer for my adjustable height desk. Before this, I had a box turned upside down under my desk just to hold all the power bricks so they wouldn’t get pulled when the desk moved up and down. It worked, but it definitely wasn’t ideal. Now I don’t have to worry about that at all. Everything moves with the desk, and it keeps all the plugs and power supplies secure and out of the way. I installed it on a desk that’s about an inch thick, and while it looked a little intimidating at first, the directions were clear and it ended up being pretty straightforward—mostly common sense. Right now it’s holding a power strip along with power bricks for two monitors and two laptops, and it hasn’t shifted at all since I set it up. It feels really sturdy. I did struggle a bit with the cords at first, but after adjusting things a couple times and using some cable organizing ties (like zip ties), it came together nicely. The biggest win is I’m no longer kicking cords or dealing with a box under my desk

Pretty good, not perfect though.

Easy to install and the adjustable length is great, but the metal does flex a bit so the tray isn't fully level no matter what you do. Given that its meant to hold a lot of cable and even power strips you'd expect it to be a little more sturdy, but it does it's job and it's pretty cheap.

An OCD Organizer’s Dream

Perfect for under desk storage, my husband is OCD AF and this made all his dreams come true lol

Waste of money, a soda can is stronger.

This shelf is comedicly thin. The weight of my standard power strip bends the shelf to 45° without being plugged in to anything, the clamps are mostly plastic, and not the good kind. Highly recommended you find another product.

Thin metal, but acceptable strong for most static use cases

It came missing 2 nuts. It's thinner and less robust than I would have expected but it is still strong enough to multiple power bricks, outlets, power supplies etc. It is made out of thin stamped metal, and it is built JUST well enough to for me to be able to trust it. I don't regret the purchase, though I would have liked it a little more if it came with all the nuts. The cable management accessories are all of decent quality, and pair well with the the tray. As a system, it is a good value. If it came with the correct number of nuts, or slightly thicker metal i would have given it 5 stars.
