Base feels sturdy and firm, the lid not so much and screen feels and sounds wobbly. I have not placed it over heat yet as still thinking if I'm keeping it, so not sure how it would hold up under the extreme heat of the Solo stove. The lid has some significant gaps around the base, it seems the diameter is correct to match the base but it is not properly aligned. Looks like the lid is a bit warped from the factory and the small hinge is not well aligned (see pictures of hinge and gaps). In the video I attempt to show how the lid fits overall. I am not sure this should be a $75 screen just yet. Hope this is helpful.

I'm very impressed with this Fire Pit Spark Screen! It's a high-quality upgrade for my fire pit stove. The fit on top of the stove is great, and the construction is sturdy. I especially like the heavy-duty handles they provide for safely moving it when it's hot. The hinged top is designed well—when you open it up to add wood, the rest of the screen doesn't shift or slide. My only minor hiccup was dealing with the size of store-bought logs. They tend to be a little long, and even with the dome's height, they sometimes stick out and prevent the lid from closing all the way (check my pictures!). It still offers protection, though, and I just need to remember to use slightly shorter wood next time. It stores easily—I just turn it upside down and tuck it right inside the pit. Plus, the flat top surface looks like it would be perfect for quickly grilling hot dogs or heating buns!

Hinge does hold top when opening. Send back and still haven’t received credit for return through ups. Finally got credit two weeks AFTER they received it back.

I installed this on top of a burn barrel. One of those 55-gallon smokless kind you can build on your own. It worked out perfectly. Now I don't have to worry about embers flying out. It fit perfectly, and I was able to use a few screws to mount it in place. The top screen moves very easily for opening and closing to add wood. The screen can even be taken off if needed. The tools they provide, the little handles, need an Allen wrench to tighten them down. Other than that, there are no flaws with this screen. It was able to withstand a ton of heat without deforming. Great quality product. Very nice looking and easy to use.

Doesn’t fit the opening well. It will still keep embers from flying but there is a small gap in the radius.

Fits the Solo Bonfire just right. After the first burn, with the flame pretty close to the wire mesh the whole time, there was a little bulging, but the wire is still firm. Some of these are so thin that they barely hold up. This seems like it will hold up. Even with the screen on, the fabric/plastic lined cover that comes with the Solo Bonfire covers pretty well. Obviously, a little more shows on the bottom, but after it cools off, you can still put the cover on without removing the screen.
