Frequently Asked Questions
What does 20-30 mmHg compression mean?
This indicates Class II compression pressure measured in millimeters of mercury. The graduated design applies strongest pressure at the ankle, decreasing toward the thigh to promote optimal circulation.
How do I choose between Black and Beige?
Both colors offer identical compression performance. Select Black for versatile everyday wear with darker clothing, or Beige for a seamless look under lighter colors or professional attire.
How long can I wear these daily?
These stockings are designed for comfortable all-day wear. Many users wear them from morning until evening, though you can adjust duration based on your personal comfort and activity level.
What makes the open toe design beneficial?
Open toe construction allows natural toe movement, improves breathability, accommodates various foot shapes, and makes the stockings easier to put on while maintaining full compression benefits up the leg.
How should I care for these compression stockings?
Hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle in cool water, then air dry flat. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and high heat to preserve the compression fibers and extend product lifespan.

What I ordered: Medical Compression Stockings for Women & Men, 20-30 mmHg Thigh High Compression Socks Open Toe, Compression Support Hose with Silicone Dot Band, for Varicose Veins, Edema, Swelling, size SMALL What I received: As above These are true, old-school, thick, compression stockings. As such, they are not easy to put on and some wearers may need assistance. For reference, I am 5'5' and 108 pounds; my legs are quite thin. I ordered a size SMALL. The fit was correct for someone my size. If you're small but have legs a bit on the thicker side, I'd suggest sizing up. They felt snug (but not too tight) and the grippy dots on top of the thigh held them in place quite well. My legs felt supported, energized, and no longer achy. I also like the half-foot option (open toe) and just wore a light pair of ankle socks on top of them. The fabric did have a few very small snags that I noticed while putting them on, but they did not run and don't seem problematic other than being less-than-perfect in appearance. If you're looking for true compression hose these are good quality, worth a try, and at a fair value especially with the coupon offer at the time of my review. Recommended
I like these Bewzilove thigh-high compression stockings so much that I've ordered them more than once. I need to wear compression stockings for a medical condition that I've had for years, so I've worn many different styles and brands of TED hose. These Bewzilove stockings are one of the most comfortable and well-fitting that I've owned. I love that they are open-toe, because my feet tend to sweat in the closed toe compression socks. It's great that they are thigh-high, because I need the extra height of leg compression the longer I'm on my feet. The material is soft and doesn't feel scratchy on my skin. They have little silicone dots at the top cuff to help keep them in place, and they do stay up. The band around the toe area is thin, so I don't feel like I'm walking with something bunched up under my feet. Overall, these are great for my needs and I'm glad I ordered them.
These are a great pair of open toed compression stockings. However, I followed the size chart and based on the measurements, ordered a 2XL. In plain clothes, typically wear a small/medium or 4/6 with room to move, not tight or snug. The 2XL fits well around ankles (11), calves (15.25) and thighs (18), but it seems way too long. The sizing seems off though. I can pull the silicone section up to my hips. These do not roll down and stay in place all day. I probably could order a smaller size, but these are great for light duty. The compression isn't as tight as expected, but they still work. These stockings are thick and do not rip easily. Overall, would order again probably getting a smaller size.
I wear 20-30 mmHg compression socks every single day because of my job that requires standing for long hours, so I know exactly what good compression stockings should feel and perform like. These are genuinely at par with the pairs I've been wearing regularly, which is saying a lot because I've tried quite a few brands over the years trying to find ones that hold up to daily, all-day wear. The fit is perfect - they go on smoothly and sit exactly where they should without bunching or creating uncomfortable pressure points. The sizing chart was accurate, and I got exactly the right compression level throughout without any awkward gaps or overly tight spots. The compression is consistent and effective - I can feel that graduated pressure working from my ankle up to my thigh, which really helps reduce the swelling and fatigue I used to deal with before I started wearing compression socks. The silicone dot bands actually stay put without rolling down, which has been a problem with other brands where I'm constantly pulling them back up throughout my shift. The quality is really good - the fabric feels durable and well-constructed, not thin or flimsy like cheaper options. What really impressed me is the washability - I've washed these several times now and they still maintain their compression and shape. No stretching out, no loss of elasticity, and the silicone bands are still gripping just as well as when they were new. That's huge when you're washing them frequently for daily wear. The open-toe design makes them so much easier to get on, especially in the morning when my legs are less swollen. They're breathable enough that my legs don't get uncomfortably hot even during long shifts, and the comfort level is excellent for wearing 8-10 hours straight. I'll definitely be using these more going forward and rotating them with my current pairs. When you find compression socks that work well for serious, daily use, you stick with them. For the price and quality, these are excellent value, especially for anyone who needs reliable compression for medical reasons or demanding jobs. They deliver the support I need without sacrificing comfort, and they hold up beautifully through regular washing. Highly recommend for anyone who needs genuine medical-grade compression that actually performs.
These compression stockings are a solid option for anyone dealing with leg swelling or fatigue, from the firm graduated compression to the open-toe design that makes them much easier to put on than closed-toe alternatives. The fabric quality is the first thing you notice — it is a 70/30 nylon and spandex blend that feels genuinely soft and thick. It doesn't have that cheap, scratchy texture you sometimes get with medical compression garments. The material has a good amount of stretch to it without feeling like it is going to lose its shape after a few washes, and it is machine washable which makes maintenance simple. I love the open-toe design on these. If you have ever wrestled with closed-toe compression socks trying to get your foot through, you know how frustrating that can be. With the open toe, you just slide your foot in and pull the stocking up your leg without that fight at the end. The silicone dot band at the top does a good job keeping the stockings in place throughout the day. You can stand, walk around, and sit at your desk without them rolling down, which was always an issue with my older pair that didn't have the grip band. The graduated compression across the five zones feels accurate too — you notice it is tightest at the ankle and gradually eases up as it goes towards the thigh, which is exactly how it should work for circulation. Coming to the actual relief they provide, it is quite noticeable. After wearing them for a full workday on my feet, my legs feel significantly less heavy and swollen compared to days without them. They do a solid job managing that tired, achy feeling you get after standing for long periods. Here's what you need to know though — measure your legs carefully before you order. My only pet-peeve is the sizing can feel a bit inconsistent especially around the top band. If you are right on the edge between two sizes, that silicone band at the top can either feel too tight and leave marks, or not grip enough and start to slip. The manufacturer says to flip the band outward if it feels too snug, which does help, but it would be nice if the transition between sizes was a little more forgiving. But given the quality of the fabric, how effective the compression is, and the price point, these are still a worthwhile purchase for everyday leg support. If you are on your feet all day or dealing with swelling, these will make a noticeable difference.
I picked up these 20–30 mmHg thigh high compression stockings to help with leg fatigue and swelling, and overall they’ve been working pretty well. The compression level feels accurate, providing a noticeable amount of support without feeling overly restrictive. They do take a little effort to put on (which is pretty normal for this level of compression), but once they’re on, they feel secure and supportive throughout the day. I noticed a difference in how my legs felt, especially after being on my feet for longer periods. The open toe design is a nice feature, especially if you don’t like the feeling of your toes being compressed or if you want to wear them with different types of shoes. It also makes them a little more comfortable overall. One thing I really liked is the silicone dot band at the top. It actually helps keep the stockings in place and prevents them from sliding down constantly, which has been an issue for me with other thigh highs. These stayed up better than expected. The material feels fairly breathable and stretchy, and while they’re snug, they didn’t feel overly uncomfortable once I got used to them. The beige color is neutral and works well under most clothing. Overall these are solid compression stockings if you’re looking for good support for things like swelling, varicose veins, or long days on your feet. They provide effective compression and stay in place better than many others I’ve tried.
I have mixed feelings about these compression stockings, but overall I was genuinely impressed by the level of compression and support they provided. These definitely offer strong compression, and when they stay in place, they can make a noticeable difference. The biggest challenge for me was getting them on. They were difficult to put on, which is not unusual with higher-compression stockings, but one leg fit and stayed up perfectly all day while the other one kept rolling down and ended up being unwearable for me. What made that especially confusing is that the leg that stayed on all day is actually my larger leg, so I’m not entirely sure why the other side kept rolling down. That said, the leg I was able to wear felt really good. The compression was strong without being painful, and I could absolutely tell the difference between the leg that had the stocking on and the one that didn’t. After being on my feet a lot and dealing with leg discomfort, the support was very noticeable. I was also impressed with how well it supported my knee area without feeling like it was cutting off circulation, which is a huge plus. For anyone with fuller thighs or hips, thigh-highs can be hit or miss, so I was honestly impressed that one of them stayed up all day comfortably. My personal preference would be if these came in a full tights or pantyhose-style option, because I think that style would likely work better for overall support and staying power, especially if you’ve had trouble with thigh-high compression stockings slipping in the past. Pros: Strong 20-30 mmHg compression Provides noticeable relief and support when worn Compression feels firm but not painful Stayed up well on one leg all day without cutting off circulation Good support around the knee area Open toe design may be more comfortable for some users Cons: Very difficult to put on One stocking rolled down repeatedly and was not wearable for me Fit/staying power may vary depending on body shape Thigh-high style may not work for everyone, especially if you struggle with them staying up I was struggling so hard to get one on that.My nail went through it Verdict: If you need strong compression and can get the right fit, these can provide excellent support and real relief. I was very impressed with the actual compression level and comfort on the leg that stayed in place. However, the fit may be inconsistent, especially with the thigh-high style, so if you’ve had issues with thigh-highs rolling down before, a full tights version might be a better option if available
I'm a male in my mid-70s and for a while I've been using compression stockings. I found this brand that appealed to me because of its open-toe design, and it was thigh-high rather than the knee-high style that kept slipping on me. Unfortunately, I am not overly fond of these either. Snug is an understatement. I'm glad I ordered the extra-large size. They suggest that if the bands are too tight to turn them outward. That didn't help; it just felt like they were cutting off the circulation.
📦 First Impressions Stretchable Soft Thick Doesn't snag or get punctured with my nails when I'm trying to pull it up and my nails are digging into it Matches my skin tone Actually feels like 20-33mmHg Has grips at the top to stay up Covers most of my foot I'm 5'2'' and this can go up mid thigh or higher if desired with more stretch to give The material is pretty typical compared to many compression stockings but unlike the black ones this one feels softer. Still thick but softer. 💪 Support & Comfort Open toes keep foot breathable Comfortable to wear 👍 What I Liked ✔️ Firm compression ✔️ Silicone band helps prevent slipping ✔️ Open-toe design 🧠 Overall Thoughts I would recommend these. It seems the skin tone ones seem more softer than black ones for some reason, but this actually is 20-30 unlike some that claim to be but feel less. I'm happy with it and it delivers in everything it advertises it to be.
These compression stockings are rated at 20–30 mmHg, which is a common range for moderate support. They provide noticeable compression through the leg and can help with swelling and general leg fatigue during long periods of standing or sitting. The material feels soft and breathable enough for extended wear, and the open-toe design makes them easier to put on compared to fully closed styles. The silicone band at the top helps keep them from sliding down. In terms of support, they do feel effective and provide consistent compression throughout the leg. The main issue is the fit. The sizing can feel a bit inconsistent depending on leg shape, and the top band can feel either too tight or not secure enough depending on how it sits. Overall, they offer solid compression and decent comfort, but getting the right fit may take some adjustment.
I've been wearing compression socks for a while now due to having issues with swelling in my legs. I always order the same size in every pair I order so I just ordered my normal size with this pair and unfortunately, they were to long and to small. I was able to get them on but the band at the top made a big crease in my thigh which was super uncomfortable. The compression was okay with the socks, definitely better at the ankle than the top but with them being a bit to tight, it's really hard to know for sure how the compression was at the top. The stockings are also quite expensive for one pair when I don't think the quality of them was any better than any of the other ones I currently have that are cheaper. Overall, I just wasn't that happy with these compression socks. I will say if you do order them, definitely use the size chart and don't just order your normal size.
I ordered these compression stockings in hopes they would help her with worsening neuropathy and general circulation issues in her lower legs. Her cardiologist explained that the stockings could help improve blood circulation thereby reducing swelling and helping relieve pressure on the nerves as well as the feet tingling she has been experiencing. She has tried compression socks that are calf length which helped some but I was thinking a longer stocking could be a greater help. That is, if they fit. I carefully measured her ankle, calf, and thigh using the sizing instructions included in the AMAZON item description pictures. Her measurements when compared to the chart were a solid Medium so that’s what I ordered. When the stockings arrived, she and I spent nearly 20 minutes trying to get them on her legs. They were obviously way too small and no amount of tugging was going to get these stockings on as they are supposed to fit. That is a real shame as these stockings are a well made sock. The material they are constructed from is softer and heavier than her other compression socks. There is a good amount of stretch, which if sized right would ensure a snug yet comfortable fit. The hems at the top and toes are well stitched with a good amount of elastic for a good hold. The heel, though not reinforced, feels durable as well. Further, the 20-30 mmHg of pressure was exactly what her cardiologist recommended she wear so even that was good in our case. Overall, this is a serviceable pair of compression stockings whose sizing just happens to run way too small in my experience. She is back to wearing her calf high compression stockings for now, but I may take another swing at these thigh length socks and order a larger size in the future.
These compression stockings provide light to moderate compression. The compression is inconsistent only due to the long length that is a stocking and the changes in width of the overall leg that the stocking has to cover. Which when you stop and think about it makes sense. The thin parts of the leg will get less compression than the wider parts. I can feel that difference as certain spots of my leg feel tighter than others. This stocking is open toe and has silicone, anti-slip grips on top to keep the stocking in place. The stocking was easy to put on, a little bit difficult to take off as it seem to want to stay around the ankles but the open toe design helped in gripping better for removal. There is an bend in the pattern for the ankle area. It provides a better fit but does seem to make it a little bit more difficult to take off. Overall, it's an ok compression stocking for light to moderate compression. Will see how well this hold up over time. Will update if anything happens.
Price at purchase $25 Value for price 2 out of 5 At this price point, there shouldn’t be so many issues. Quality of materials: average Quality of workmanship: average Functionality: below average Fit: below average The compression ability of these stockings leaves a lot to be desired. I was expecting more from a single pair at this price point. I recently had surgery, and I’m trying to follow the doctor’s recommendations for post-surgery. I was expecting more compression. The material is both not the best at compression with also fitting poorly. I ordered my normal size, and it was clearly sized for someone much taller and thinner than me. The legging area bunched. I could not get the band up my thigh any further than the mid-thigh shown in the picture, and if I pulled the stockings down so they didn’t bunch, the heel area came to around my toes and I looked like I was ready for clown shoes. Once the band was at mid-thigh (and the stockings are still bunched), it felt like the band was cutting off circulation in my legs. Using the tip to fold it over eased that a bit, but it just seems ridiculous that it is tight in the band area and still not fitting properly in the rest of my legs to do the job they were designed to do. I was very disappointed with these.
What’s on the photo did not match the stockings I got. First off, I tried to go off of their chart and measured my legs. The sizing was all over the place so I just went with a large. (I’m 5’7 & 134lbs in reference) It fit me decently snug but it was really uncomfortably tight in certain areas and so it didn’t give me any relief. Also, the stockings were so long that they covered my entire leg area. Not sure if they were just a bad sizing for me. Couldn’t test if they stayed in place because they were uncomfortable. Make sure to hand wash these! I accidently washed and dried them in the machines and it tore them.
I’m giving these thigh-high compression socks 4 stars overall. The support they provide is genuinely impressive—they help reduce muscle fatigue and improve circulation, especially during long days on my feet. I’ve noticed less swelling and better comfort in my legs, which is a huge plus. The only downside is the fit around the thighs. If you have thicker thighs, they can feel a bit too tight, which sometimes causes them to roll down or become uncomfortable after a while. A more inclusive sizing option or better stretch at the top would make a big difference. Overall, they do exactly what they’re supposed to in terms of support, but the fit could be improved for a wider range of body types.
I got these Bewzilove compression stockings in black, size M, following the sizing chart. This is my first time getting open toe, thigh high compression socks. I liked the idea of keeping my toes free, yet having the longer length, which I thought might also help with my knee pain. The stockings are well made and pretty comfortable. They are of medium weight, and they look like many of my conventional (non-compression) stockings - they are a basic black, with a slight sheen to them. They provide full coverage, except when I bend my knees, when you can see my skin peek through. I find them easy to put on and adjust, though a tad trickier to take off, especially the foot/heel part. These are billed as having different compression levels up and down the leg, but I can't discern much of a difference. In fact, if anything I feel less compression at my ankles, even though that part should have the greatest amount of compression. My ankles are fairly thin relative to the rest of my legs, but they still fall within the sizing specs for size M. The left stocking is also harder to get on and feels tighter on, even though my right leg, which is my dominant leg, is more muscular and I thought larger -?? Not sure if my left leg is in fact larger, which would be news to me, or if there are production inconsistencies across stockings. Overall, the stockings provide some support, but the compression seems fairly light (though still noticeable). The true test will come when I try these on a long flight, which is what I primarily got these for. I might try these in size S as well, to see if they provide more compression than the M. The silicone dot bands lining the top of each stocking do a good job holding up the stockings. Mine don't slip down at all. I haven't put these through the wash yet, but they seem more durable than many of my conventional tights, which typically last me through many wears and washes, so I expect the same of these. These stockings are currently priced at $25, marked down to $17.50 if you use the coupon available on the listing page (as of March 2026). The discounted price for the stockings seems like a decent deal for the quality you get, though if you need greater precision in your compression stockings, you might want to try other brands.
Horrible to try to get on
A little smaller then expected but over all good quality
